On 14 December 2023 the Western Ligurian Sea Port Authority awarded a new concession to a group of Genoa-based companies, Genoa Sea Service Srl, Gatti Srl, North Sails Srl and Consorzio Assistenza Nautica of the Port of Genoa. The contract foresees innovative redevelopment in the Ship Repair Area east of the port.
