Today, the historical port headquarters of Palazzo San Giorgio provided the backdrop to the signing of the International Sister Seaports Agreement between the President of the Western Ligurian Sea Port Authority, Paolo Emilio Signorini, and the Mayor of Miami-Dade County, Daniella Levine Cava, a partnership which will further strengthen port ties.
