The first phase foresees the construction of an operational area to the east of the Delta Jetty of the Oil Terminal, and river defence and engineering works along the Molinassi Creek, and thereafter along the Maratto/Monferrato, Chiaravagna, Ruscarolo and Cantarena. The second phase envisages the expansion of the industrial area and the installation of a new 440-metre long dry dock to cater for the construction of mega-ships. Improvement of the landside access to the Genoa Sestri Ponente industrial port area, including the relocation of the railway line.
