Paolo Piacenza
Government Commissioner of the Western Ligurian Sea Port Authority
Paolo Piacenza was appointed Government Commissioner of the Western Ligurian Sea Port Authority by Decree n. 217 on 8 September 2023.
He was also appointed Government Administrator of the Savona Cable Car System – San Giuseppe di Cairo.
Paolo Piacenza graduated in Law and holds a PhD in Administrative Law.
In May 2021 he was appointed Secretary General of the Port Authority of the Western Ligurian Sea.
On 1st January 2018, he was nominated Chief Director of the Port Governance, Business Plans and Subsidiary Companies Staff of the newly established Port Authority of the Western Ligurian Sea.
From May 2016 to December 2017 Paolo Piacenza held the post of Managing Director of I.R.E. S.p.A. In 2012 he was appointed legal counsel to NARS and DIPE, which refer to the Italian Prime Minister’s Government Office and provide assistance to CIPE, the Inter-Ministerial Committee for Economic Planning.
From 2009 worked as a private practice lawyer, specialised in administrative law, public tenders and public-private partnerships.
