Cruise Med 2026

On 16–17 September, Ports of Genoa will take part in Seatrade Cruise Med 2026, taking place at Las Palmas Cruise Port in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The biennial event is one of the main meeting points for the cruise industry in the Mediterranean and neighbouring regions, bringing together ports, cruise lines, operators and international stakeholders.

The 2026 edition welcomes more than 2,000 professionals from over 90 countries, over 180 international exhibitors and more than 200 cruise line representatives, with a programme of meetings and discussions focused on the key developments shaping the sector.

This year marks a double anniversary for the Mediterranean cruise industry. Seatrade Cruise Med celebrates its 30th anniversary, a journey that began in 1996 in Genoa, which hosted the very first edition of the event. MedCruise, the association of Mediterranean and adjoining seas cruise ports, of which Ports of Genoa is a member, also celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2026.

Ports of Genoa will be present as part of the CruiseItaly collective exhibition coordinated by Assoporti, at stand 1E20, to promote the cruise offering of the ports of Genoa and Savona and strengthen dialogue with cruise lines, operators and industry partners.

Participation in the event provides an important opportunity to consolidate relationships with key international stakeholders and further enhance the role of Ports of Genoa within the Mediterranean cruise market.
