In the past years Savona yachting industry has seen rapid growth and existing dedicated facilities positioned along the stretch of coast embraced between Savona and Vado Ligure expanded to overall 700 boat-berths.
The renovation of Savona urban waterfront, designed by Catalan-native architect Ricardo Bofill, also encompassed the Old Port (Vecchia Darsena), transformed into a comfortable and safe marina, shelter for yachts and boats of different size (Blue Flag by FEE, since 2002), and into one of the main leisure venue in town.
Vecchia Darsena offers all comforts and services: from drinkable water to shore power. Boat transport and repair services are also available.
Cafés, restaurants, offering typical Ligurian specialties, ice cream shops and other public areas, but also personal services like toilets and showers.
Berths management concession was granted S.V. Port Service Srl.
Vecchia Darsena also features a pedestrian bridge across the harbor’s entrance which allows boats to pass through.

During the day opening is possible, ONLY on request, every 30 minutes from 6.30 to 00.30
