Extension and upgrade of the port flyover

The extension and upgrade of the port flyover, part of the wide-ranging pan to improve overland access to the Port of Genoa, is set to reduce transit and dwelling times of heavy goods vehicles to/from the port gates. The project foresees the construction of a four-lane viaduct and a direct link to the new smart Ponente port gate which, upon completion, will be connected directly by a dedicated road link to the Genoa-Airport motorway exit.
