Since the beginning of the 20th century Carmelo Noli S.r.l. is in charge of the towage service for the harbours of Savona and Vado Ligure. The company has always succeeded to improve its own technologies: that’s the reason why in the 90’s the fleet was already equipped with Azimuth Stern Drive tugs, and now consists of 5 tugs. Carmelo Noli, according to the existing regulations, follows its mission to provide a reliable, safe, efficient and cheap towage service for any customer, the achievement of increasing the harbour’s appeal to new incomers. These years’ effort is shown especially by ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and BS OHSAS 18001 certificates, for the environment, health and safety management.
